Imagine that you are waiting for a train at a station to reach your destination. However, due to the limited capacity of each train, only a certain number of passengers can board each one. Now, consider if a virtual train arrived at the station every second to collect these passengers. With this approach, there would be sufficient room for everyone to board, right?
To better understand this analogy, let's imagine that each virtual train arriving every second has one carriage that can accommodate a specific number of passengers. Additionally, while approaching the station, the train can add more carriages to accommodate all the passengers who want to board at that precise moment. Although the train is the same, it has now transformed into a larger one to accommodate more passengers.
This is precisely where Wayvy's core value proposition comes into play. Blocks that propagate throughout the network every second can be likened to the aforementioned virtual trains. Each carriage, known as a VY, can accommodate a certain number of transactions, which is ultimately limited by the total number of tokens transferred. The number of VYs in each block can vary, depending on the number of passengers waiting to board that specific train every second.
